"Helene Smith" (a pseudonym for Catherine Elise Muller) was a Swiss medium. She claimed to have had psychic contact with a Martian intelligence.
Her claims were the focus of Theodore Flourney's book “From India to the Planet Mars” (1900) (available on Amazon USA and on Amazon UK).
